A Studio for the Soul

At Hand Maid by Emily…

…when I say “studio“, I don’t mean an art school or a place you have to be “good” at making things. This studio is a space set aside for practice—just showing up, paying attention, and listening.

When I say “creative“, I don’t mean you have to be an artist, musician, or writer. Every one of us was created in the image and likeness of creative God. Therefore, we are creative simply because we are human.

A “studio for the soul” is a creative sanctuary—a place to experiment in a faithful community. Here, creativity becomes a way of listening: to your own heart and to God’s gentle presence in ordinary days.

We are a community of makers, seekers, and everyday disciples embracing the slow, sacred work of becoming.
